A license lookup badge for your website
Help visitors find your state’s official license search. Add a free badge to a contractor, salon, agent or staffing website, with a link to the matching LicenseCalendar lookup guide.
A link to verify, without a status claim
The badge says “Verify on the official site.” It shows the license type and state. It does not identify a license holder or confirm a license status. A lookup-link verification date is not a check of your business.
LicenseCalendar does not endorse, certify or vet your business. Choose the license type accurately: an individual professional license does not establish that a firm or facility is licensed.
Add it to your website
- Choose a license type, state, theme and format. Review the preview.
- Paste the full code into your website’s custom HTML block. Keep the official lookup link, LicenseCalendar attribution and disclaimer visible.
- Check the published page on a phone and desktop. Adjust the iframe height if needed; visitors can scroll for source details.
The static SVG image works in image blocks that accept a hosted image URL. If your editor cannot paste HTML, add both the matching lookup-guide link and official lookup link beside the image. Keep its wording and disclaimer intact.
Iframe and hosted image updates appear when LicenseCalendar publishes an update. A downloaded image is a snapshot and cannot update itself.
We count eligible embed loads by website hostname and US Central day using the existing widget counter. Counts are loads, not unique businesses or visitors. Preview loads, known bots and privacy opt-outs are excluded; visitor identifiers and full referring URLs are not stored. Privacy details.
